The active hydrotherapy process itself is tailored to your body's natural rhythm and honors standard manufacturer safety baselines.

This multi-day approach allows for gentle, progressive hydration over a short window, helping you achieve a thorough sense of systemic harmony and lightness.

While a single, standalone session offers wonderful foundational hydration, the historical convention in holistic self-care has always favored a progressive approach. Many seasoned wellness enthusiasts prefer to book a consecutive series of 2 to 3 sessions closely together.

Because the digestive system is closely tied to the body's natural response to everyday stressors, individuals navigating a fast-paced week may occasionally experience a deep sense of relaxation, quiet restfulness, or mild fatigue immediately following a session as their system settles. We view this as a beautiful, natural part of the self-care journey. We suggest supporting your body’s natural relaxation afterward by drinking plenty of pure water, enjoying a warm magnesium bath, or sipping a soothing cup of peppermint tea.

Not at all. Our wellness-based approach focuses entirely on client comfort and supporting your body’s natural digestive rhythms. There is no suction or "pulling" involved; instead, the process uses a gentle, low-pressure flow of water to hydrate the system and encourage the body’s own natural movement for the release of waste. Most clients find the experience to be a gentle, rhythmic process that aligns beautifully with their own body.

While the majority of our clients find the session deeply relaxing, those who are new to the practice may occasionally experience a temporary sensation of fullness or mild stimulation as the system adjusts to the hydration. To ensure your total comfort during these moments, we provide a serene environment featuring nature films, comforting warm packs, and soothing ambient red light. Any temporary sensations typically transition quickly into a sense of lightness and clarity. Most clients leave feeling refreshed and renewed, finding that the experience becomes even more effortless and deeply restorative as they stay consistent with their wellness routine.

To ensure you feel your best, we recommend maintaining steady energy levels by eating light, wholesome meals on the day of your appointment. Please finish eating at least two hours prior to your session so your body can focus entirely on relaxation. Many clients find that choosing fresh, whole foods—while minimizing processed items, heavy dairy, and alcohol—the day before and the day of their session allows for a more comfortable and unhurried experience. You will likely feel a renewed sense of appetite afterward, so we suggest having a nourishing meal ready to enjoy.

Hydration and Routine:

Proper hydration is key to an optimal and comfortable session, so please drink plenty of water leading up to your visit. You should absolutely continue any supplements or medications as usual.

Fasting and Specialized Wellness Goals:

If you are currently following a specific nutritional routine or fast, please let us know in advance so we can discuss the best timing for your appointment. While we do not perform sessions during active water fasts, we find they are excellent for supporting overall comfort both before and after juice-based lifestyle protocols. We are highly experienced in providing supportive environmental wellness and lifestyle services for clients navigating various holistic journeys, ensuring your session seamlessly complements your personal self-care path.

Yes. Many clients report that scheduling a session during their period aligns beautifully with their body’s natural monthly rhythm, providing a wonderful sense of lightness and abdominal ease.

To ensure your absolute comfort and personal hygiene, we simply request that you remove any internal feminine hygiene products, such as tampons or menstrual cups, immediately prior to your session. This supports optimal, unhindered relaxation during the process and ensures you can fully unwind and focus on your wellness experience without any interruption

 At Truly Terrain, client safety is our absolute, foundational priority. Because we operate as an independent, educational wellness center rather than a specialized medical hospital, we enforce strict baseline safety criteria and absolute contraindications.

We cannot provide services to individuals under the following circumstances:

• Independent Physical Mobility Limitations Truly Terrain is an Open System Colon Hydrotherapy center. Our FDA-registered equipment requires complete independent physical mobility to safely utilize. Clients must be able to comfortably seat themselves, transition, and operate within the system entirely on their own. Our specialized equipment is not engineered to accommodate mechanical or structural transfers (such as wheelchairs, walkers, or external lifting assistance). If you cannot independently access the equipment, our center is unfortunately not the right fit for your safety needs.

• Active Onco-Therapies (Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy) To ensure total systemic stability and protect your body's natural defense rhythms, we do not provide sessions to anyone currently undergoing active chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Clients must be at least 6 months post-treatment before scheduling a session with us.

• Active Water Fasting To preserve optimal electrolyte balance and systemic energy, we do not perform colonics on individuals during an active, water-only fast. Sessions are safely reserved for before or after your fasting protocols.

• Age Restrictions Truly Terrain is a professional environment dedicated exclusively to adult self-care. We do not provide services to children or minors under the age of 18.
