At Truly Terrain, your colonic session will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes depending on your body. We are not by the clock but by the colon and end the session when your body signals the cleanse is complete for that session. Sometimes a person will need to schedule a series of colonics of 2-3 days in a row to feel complete especially if they have not had bowel movements in a few days or are on pain medications.

You will want multiple sessions in close proximity to fully reap the benefits. IF IT IS YOUR FIRST COLONIC OR HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE YOUR LAST ONE It is recommended throughout the colonic industry to get 2-3 colonics 2-3 days in a row. After this initial cleanup, most choose to make colon cleansing a part of their regular hygiene program as a healthy maintenance choice. BUT there is no one protocol for everyone. We discuss your goals during your session and help you come up with an ideal cleanse schedule for your needs. Some people want to schedule a live blood analysis session to aid in that schedule. And, It is very common for clients to make colonics a monthly routine and many do a series of colonics 3-10 days in a row with a specific protocol for the Ultimate Cleanse. We offer a 3 Day Cleanse and a 10 Day Deep Dive and can individualize something in between. It is all about meeting YOUR needs.

After a colonic you should feel refreshed, a lot lighter, and relaxed. Going to work after or being active is totally ok as you should have all your releases take place at our clinic! However, if you are very compacted of toxic buildup you will need several sessions closer together to truly feel complete. Thus, after your first session (when there is still a lot left) you could feel icky after which is a sign your body truly needs this and you should try to book your next session as soon as you can to finishing flushing out your system. If you are holding on to a lot of emotional stress or trauma, you may feel exhausted or even emotional after your session. With the gut and brain connection we tend to hold on to a lot of emotions in our gut and this is another way to release that. Hot magnesium bath afterwards and a yummy cup of peppermint tea will help

No. Colonics are not painful and are only stimulating the body’s natural peristalsis movement. (The colon is contracting on its own to release). Many newbies think something is being pulled or sucked out of them and that is definitely not the case. During the colonic you will get into a gentle rhythm of water going in and waste going out. It is your own body's rhythm. There is no pressure used. Gentle comfortable releasing of waste from your body. HOWEVER, depending on a person's toxicity level and how compacted their colon may be, a 1st session for some may be a little uncomfortable while all these toxins are being stirred up inside the body. The nature movie, gentle massage, red light therapy really help in the few cases that happens. Most people feel great during it. If you have any discomfort, this is temporary and go away immediately after the toxins are cleansed out. This release of toxic buildup will feel euphoric and you should leave the session feeling clearer and refreshed. The key is to trust the process and stay consistent while each session gets better.

When NOT fasting, please eat on the day of your colonic but stop eating 2 hours prior colonic. You will want to eat breakfast and sometimes lunch to keep your blood sugars steady during the colonic. Your blood sugars and blood pressure often lowers during the colonic. Plan the food you will eat after your colonic. You will likely be hungry! Eat your best avoiding meats, processed foods, fried foods, dairy and bread, and no alcohol on the day of the colonic and if can, the day before but please don't let a meal stop you from getting going with cleansing. Please take your supplements / medications as normal. Please be hydrated. You will notice the difference hydration makes. FASTING: If you are on a specific fast please let me know prior so can review / discuss. I do not give colonics on a water fast and suggest colonics BEFORE a water fast or any juice fast . Many of my clients choose to do colonics during juice fasting but I suggest you have already had a colonic before doing a juice fast so you know what they are like. Colonics during fasting is very different than colonics during normal eating routine. I am very knowledgable about the liver gall bladder flush, parasite cleanses, heavy metal cleanses, mold detox and how colonics are used in conjunction with them.

YES! Your body is already in the detox mode. Just remove any feminine hygiene products prior to getting onto the system including cups and tampons. They will be released and will clog our system.
