GENERAL FAQ
What makes Truly Terrain Clinic different from other wellness clinics?
Truly Terrain combines into one alternative health clinic the main health resources you need using a terrain approach including ozone colonics, hyperbaric oxygen, infrared sauna, live blood analysis and advanced healing protocols. Our healing oasis gives you incredibly high levels of individualized care and expert insight into how to overcome health challenges naturally. Because we spend 90 minutes during each session devoted to your care, you get more care, more education and more results than other places that operate like a "jiffy lube". It is my life's work and I consider it an honor to help each person God brings my way.
What does "terrain-based healing" mean and why is it important?
Truly Terrain Clinic approaches healing from a terrain based approach instead of the artificial allopathic germ theory and symptom chasing approach. I like what Florence Nightengale said about it... "The specific disease doctrine is the grand refuge of weak, uncultured, unstable minds, such as now rule in the medical profession. There are no specific diseases; there are specific disease conditions" Truly Terrain seeks to offer services that bring the body into homeostasis naturally. The "terrain approach" for health care is important because "allopathic care" is for acute life saving measures, but not the most effective care for overcoming chronic environmental or lifestyle related diseases. For that, our terrain approach and natural services are perfect. They are also far more accessible and affordable.
Where is Truly Terrain Clinic located, and how can I schedule a visit?
Truly Terrain Clinic is located in the Historic District of Taos, New Mexico. Our Address is: 216 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, Suite E, Taos NM 87571. We are across from Red Willow Park (aka... Kit Carson Park) and in Yucca Plaza with Moxie and Copy Queen & King. We offer easy free parking. Please schedule ONLINE at trulyterrain.com through our schedule buttons throughout the site. All you need to schedule is to give your name, phone and email. We do ask for a 72 hour notice to change or cancel an appointment since people schedule their appointments a week or more in advance. When you schedule you will be sent an intake form with instructions to best prepare for your session and fill out so I know important information to give you the best personalized care.
Are online consultations available if I can’t visit Taos, NM?
Oh Yes! Truly Terrain Clinic gives online consultations both to those out of the area and in the area. There are many people who just want to stay home these days or have uber busy schedules. You can schedule the service titled Consultation on our website. It is 90 minutes long and we use a zoom link for more personalized online appointment. You will also get a email recapping our session together and available for follow up questions via email or text after it.
What should I expect during my first visit or consultation?
It all depends on your current health situation. Most people leave ozone colonics and and infrared sauna sessions GLOWING! They feel so light and free. All the bloating and gas is gone so they have a flatter belly and noticeably feel more hydrated both internally and with their skin. Just one session can be dramatic but best advised to do 2 days in a row of colonics and if can, do an infrared sauna session after the colonic. For maximum results, choose to do 3 days in a row of colonics and infrared sauna and we offer a 3 day detox package to make it more affordable.
When doing hyperbaric oxygen, that is a total feel good during and after. Everyone LOVES hyperbaric oxygen because you immediately go into parasympathetic nervous system mode of rest and digest and healing. It becomes an escape from high stress world and you feel so nurtured like in your mothers womb. People go in the chamber slowly, often with pain but spring out and notice that their pain is less or even gone. Especially older folks. People also have remarked that they breath and sleep better. Even with just one session most people notice a difference. A highly suggested book to read on Hyperbaric Oxygen to answer the questions about what would happen if I did a series and why, please consider Dr Paul Harch MD book: The Oxygen Revolution: 3rd edition. Therefore we offer packages to make it more affordable of 3 to 10 sessions at a time.
During a consult or live blood analysis session you should expect me to ask you very detailed questions about your health and your medical history including dental and medical procedures, work, home, hobby and lifestyle toxicity exposures, along with asking how you feel about doing detox or changing your diet or exercise. I ask a lot of questions and listen to you and what you have experienced and believe that you are your best doctor. No one knows you better than you. So I use this time to find out about you, what you have gone through and use my 23 years experience and excellent training to help you. During the Live Blood Analysis expect to arrive hungry because you will 5 fast five hours but can bring a meal to eat after I get the sample. I will be pricking your finger for one little drop of blood and placing that blood on the microscope for you to see just how well your blood is functioning which tells you and me so much about your health. This is a highly informative 90 minutes session.
COLONIC FAQ
What is a colonic?
A colonic, also known as colon hydrotherapy, is a gentle cleansing of the large intestine using warm, filtered water. Ozone is a highly oxygenated form of oxygen that is commonly used to support detoxification and microbial balance. Ozone colonics at Truly Terrain Clinic are designed to support deeper cleansing while remaining gentle and controlled.
Who may benefit from ozone colonics?
Ozone colonics are often chosen by individuals seeking digestive support, detoxification, immune support, or relief from feeling sluggish or inflamed. Sessions are private and typically last about 60-90 minutes. We are not by the clock, but by the colon. Clients are guided through the process and encouraged to relax while the colon gently releases waste. Many people report feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized afterward.
How often should ozone colonics be done?

HOWEVER, we use the unique Relax Sauna where a typical session is only 20-30 minutes in the sauna because it is far more powerful penetrating 3 inches into the body for a deeper detox. Clients are encouraged to hydrate before and after sessions and to listen to their body’s signals.
