PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATION

WHAT IS A PMA

PMA is a Private Membership Association. There are different types of private membership associations. Some PMA's are for health care practitioners called PHA, and some for education called PEA and some for health clubs called PMA and some for faith based associations, also called a PMA.  The Association that we have formed for Truly Terrain is a faith based organization operating under the Gastra Girl  Private Ministerial Association. Since the gospel includes the health message this perfectly aligns with our church. Of all the Private Associations, the private ministerial association, such as Truly Terrain operates within, offers the most protection for it's members and the trustees of it.

The Private Ministerial Association is a legal entity in the United States (508c1A), and operates in the PRIVATE domain. This allows us to not follow statuatory policies such as those that were enacted in 2020 as long as we do not pose any threat or direct harm to members such as fraud, murder, rape, theft, assault and etc... Membership within our PMA will allow more protection, privacy and freedom of speech and association than we could have if we operated in the public domain. There are specific regulations governing 508c1a status of which the Gastra Girl PMA Truly Terrain FULLY meets, as Truly Terrain follows the bible definition of a church giving health care for all, even those with different beliefs as Jesus perfectly showed in his life on earth. Therefore members do not all have the same faith as we hold but agree to the principles of the membership form they signed.

Private Associations are not open to the public and operate on a membership basis. PMA's have to clearly define membership. Our PMA membership requires a signed membership agreement to become a member. Churches do NOT require membership fees to be members therefore Truly Terrain Private Health Clinic of Gastra Girl PMA, does NOT require a membership fee to become a member. All fees for our services are considered "donations" of a minimum of $125 cash or $175 card and will show a receipt of Gastra Girl PMA. Only members can receive any of our services or information offered exclusively to members.

We are accepting NEW members at this time. We can offer limited  information online and have communication with the public in order to attract  and educate people about our PMA and it's offerings so that they can decide if they want to become a member.

We have established a private membership area within our site offering videos and regular scheduled meetings that are exclusive to members.

We formed our PMA with the expertise of a professional PMA advisor and with much prayer considering how to best deliver health information and health care in the times we live in. We understand this is a legal entity (508c1a) that many are not aware of, so please contact me at hello@trulyterrain.com with any questions.

DETAILED ARTICLE ON PMA

"I am not the only IRS employee who’s wondered why churches go to the government and seek permission to be exempted from a tax they didn’t owe to begin with, and to seek a tax deductible status that they’ve always had anyway. Many of us have marveled at how church leaders want to be regulated and controlled by an agency of government that most Americans have prayed would just get out of their lives. Churches are in an amazingly unique position, but they don’t seem to know or appreciate the implications of what it would mean to be free of government control.

KNOW THE TRUTH

IRS REQUIREMENTS FOR CHURCHES

The IRS generally uses a combination of these characteristics, together with other facts and circumstances, to determine whether an organization is considered a church for federal tax purposes. The Truly Terrain Health Clinic of Gastra Girl PMA fully meets these requirements.

The term church is found, but not specifically defined, in the Internal Revenue Code. With the exception of the special rules for church audits, the use of the term church also includes conventions and associations of churches as well as integrated auxiliaries of a church.

Certain characteristics are generally attributed to churches.  These attributes of a church have been developed by the IRS and by court decisions.

They include:

  • Distinct legal existence

  • Recognized creed and form of worship

  • Definite and distinct ecclesiastical government

  • Formal code of doctrine and discipline

  • Distinct religious history

  • Membership not associated with any other church or denomination

  • Organization of ordained ministers

  • Ordained ministers selected after completing prescribed courses of study

  • Literature of its own

  • Established places of worship

  • Regular congregations

  • Regular religious services

  • Regular weekday school for the religious instruction of the young

  • Schools for the preparation of its members
